David Ashford
President, CEO, Co-Owner
David Ashford is President and CEO of Integrated Security Solutions (ISS-KY) and CEO of APB Consulting Solutions. A Kentucky native, David brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning military service, law enforcement, physical security, and business operations. Since joining ISS in 2010, he has led the company’s growth into a nationally recognized provider of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and security technology solutions. Today, ISS supports more than 30,000 retail and commercial locations across the United States through its team of dedicated security professionals headquartered in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
Before entering the private sector, David served ten years in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Policeman and weapons instructor, followed by a distinguished law enforcement career with the Lexington Division of Police, where he retired as a Sergeant in 2012. Throughout his public service career, he held leadership roles in patrol operations, special response teams, recruit training, and active shooter preparedness. David developed and implemented active shooter response training programs that prepared more than 1,000 officers and helped establish departmental response policies. In 2018, he expanded his focus on workplace safety by joining APB Consulting Solutions, where he helps organizations assess security risks, develop emergency response strategies, and improve preparedness for critical incidents. David currently serves as Chair of the Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Board and remains committed to strengthening the safety and security of the communities and organizations he serves.

Beth Rose
Vice President, COO, Co-Owner
Beth Rose serves as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Co-owner of Integrated Security Solutions (ISS-KY), a nationally recognized provider of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and structured cabling solutions. Since joining the company in 2014, Beth has played a key role in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and organizational development. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, including project delivery, service operations, customer experience, finance, human resources, and strategic planning, helping ISS-KY support more than 30,000 locations across the United States. Under her leadership, the company has continued to strengthen its reputation for delivering responsive, scalable security solutions to multi-site retail and commercial customers nationwide.
Prior to joining ISS-KY, Beth spent more than 21 years with Lexmark International, where she held progressive leadership positions in information technology, e-commerce, and business operations. During her tenure, she helped establish Lexmark’s early internet presence and led the development of global e-commerce platforms and digital business initiatives. Beth combines her Fortune 500 leadership experience with the entrepreneurial agility of a family-owned business, bringing a unique perspective to operational strategy, technology innovation, and customer-focused growth. She is passionate about developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensuring ISS-KY remains a trusted partner to customers across the country.

Joseph Wagoner
Chief Technology Officer
Joseph Wagoner has spent more than 17 years helping ISS-KY solve complex security challenges for some of the largest retail and commercial organizations in the country. As CTO, he leads the technology strategy and solution architecture that keeps ISS ahead of an ever-evolving industry — and ensures clients across more than 30,000 locations get solutions that actually work.
Joseph’s expertise runs deep: video surveillance, access control, system integration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity. But what sets him apart is his ability to cut through the technical complexity and deliver what clients really need. He works closely with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams to vet emerging technologies and build solutions that scale.

Cindy Williams
Director of Finance and Accounting
Cindy Williams serves as Director of Finance and Accounting for Integrated Security Solutions (ISS-KY), where she oversees the company’s accounting and finance operations, financial reporting, procurement processes, and inventory and materials control functions.
In her role, Cindy partners closely with the executive leadership team to drive strategic planning, informed financial decision-making, and continuous process improvement. As a trusted financial leader, she brings deep expertise in GAAP, accounting best practices, financial reporting, and internal controls, helping strengthen organizational performance and support sustainable growth. Known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence, Cindy plays a vital role in maintaining the company’s strong financial foundation and advancing its long-term success.
Since joining ISS in 2024, Cindy has been instrumental in enhancing the company’s financial operations by strengthening internal processes, driving operational efficiencies, and upholding the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Cindy joined ISS after an accomplished 32-year career with Lexmark International, where she held progressively senior leadership roles across finance, accounting, and business operations. Her extensive experience spans financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, process optimization, and cross-functional business support within a global organization.
Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Transylvania University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Kentucky.

Michael J. Barren
Director of Operations
Michael brings a strategic and people-focused approach to organizational leadership. His expertise includes strategic planning, communication, project management, logistics, and business operations, with a strong emphasis on building effective teams and driving operational excellence. Michael is skilled in developing processes, coordinating complex initiatives, and aligning organizational goals with practical execution to achieve measurable results.
Throughout my career, he has focused on motivating, mentoring, and empowering staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Michael’s background includes event management, public speaking, public relations, human resources administration, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement. Known for his ability to build strong relationships both within organizations and with external partners, he excels at leading diverse teams, managing personnel effectively, and creating solutions that support long-term growth and success.

BJ Santiago
Chief Revenue Officer
BJ Santiago serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Integrated Security Solutions (ISS), where he leads the company’s growth strategy, revenue operations, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, customer success initiatives, and market expansion efforts across North America. He is responsible for accelerating ISS’s position as a premier provider of security technology, critical infrastructure, deployment enablement, and enterprise lifecycle services for some of the nation’s most recognized multi-site retail, grocery, convenience store, restaurant, distribution, and commercial brands.
Widely recognized as a transformational business leader, BJ brings a unique combination of military leadership, public service, executive management, and high-growth technology expertise. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for helping organizations scale rapidly, enter new markets, drive operational excellence, and create sustainable competitive advantage.
BJ’s leadership journey includes an extraordinary moment in world history. On November 9, 1989, while serving as a U.S. Army Officer with the 6th Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, he was the Duty Officer responsible for the U.S. Sector of Berlin on the night the Berlin Wall fell, an event that symbolized the end of the Cold War and reshaped the geopolitical landscape. He later served during Operation Desert Storm before embarking on distinguished careers in both state and federal law enforcement.
Following his public service, BJ transitioned into the technology sector, where he became known for leading innovation, business transformation, and accelerated growth initiatives. As Chief Executive Officer of Intellinetics, Inc., he successfully guided the company through its public offering and growth as a publicly traded technology organization. He later served as Chief Executive Officer of Badger Technologies, a division of Jabil Inc., where he helped scale one of the industry’s most innovative robotics and artificial intelligence companies, serving customers across retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics markets.
His accomplishments and thought leadership have earned national recognition, including two cover features in Business Lexington magazine and a featured appearance on CNBC in 2024 for his contributions to robotics, artificial intelligence, automation, workforce innovation, and business transformation.
An entrepreneur at heart, BJ also founded the American Fight League (AFL), a professional mixed martial arts organization whose events were broadcast nationally on Mark Cuban’s HDNet “Friday Night Fights,” helping expand the sport’s visibility during its formative growth years.
Today, BJ is widely respected as a strategic advisor, executive coach, board member, and growth executive who helps organizations navigate disruption, accelerate performance, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and long-term value creation.
BJ resides in Lexington, Kentucky, with his wife, Lisa Marie, and is the proud father of five children.

Sharon Stamper
Director of Customer Care
Sharon Stamper brings a wealth of dedicated expertise to her role as the Director of Customer Care, where her dynamic leadership and strategic vision consistently drive team success. Drawing on a foundational military background and more than a decade of dedicated service with ISS-KY, Sharon excels at transforming complex operational challenges into actionable, high-impact workflows that prioritize the customer experience. Known for a powerful blend of analytical prowess and a collaborative spirit, she has successfully spearheaded numerous cross-functional initiatives across PMO, Sales, Account Management, and Operations, optimizing call center performance, strengthening KPI visibility, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Beyond strategic execution, Sharon is deeply passionate about team empowerment and professional development within the workplace. Grounded in the philosophy that empowered teams create exceptional customer experiences, she actively champions clear ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. Outside of the office, Sharon enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and spending quality time with her family. Her proven track record, military leadership foundation, and long-standing commitment to ISS-KY reflect a lifelong dedication to professional excellence, operational growth, and building trust through consistency.
