Challenge
In the banking industry, the teller line is the primary point of customer interaction and historically, the highest-risk area for security incidents. Central Bank recognized a critical need to upgrade its existing surveillance capabilities at this pivotal juncture. The institution required a solution capable of capturing exceptionally clear, high-resolution facial images of individuals during transactions to provide undeniable forensic evidence in the event of fraud, identity theft, suspicious activity, or a bank robbery.
ISS was tasked with deploying an advanced, multi-site technology rollout without causing a single minute of downtime, disrupting critical teller workflows, or interfering with active customer transactions.

To eliminate guesswork, ISS initiated a rigorous Proof of Concept (POC) evaluation. By testing multiple leading camera technologies directly against the bank’s unique branch lighting and physical dimensions, ISS could confidently verify real-world performance, image clarity, and aesthetic blending before a single branch rollout began.

Following the successful conclusion of the POC evaluation, ISS recommended the Hanwha Bandit Barrier Kit.
Specifically engineered for financial institutions and demanding retail teller applications, the Hanwha Bandit Barrier system offers an unmatched combination of high-resolution imaging and ultra-low-profile design.
With the technology approved, the ISS project management team developed an efficient, standardized deployment strategy. Leveraging a dedicated team of in-house technical experts. SS meticulously scheduled the rollout branch by branch, ensuring that adjacent teller windows remained fully operational while a specific station was being upgraded.
Result
The Central Bank Teller Line Camera Upgrade delivered immediate, undeniable value, perfectly satisfying both the security and aesthetic mandates of the institution.
The Hanwha Bandit Barrier cameras delivered crisp, high-resolution facial images at perfect eye-level angles. Concurrently, the visual footprint was so negligible that the cameras blended seamlessly into the existing branch decor.
The real-world effectiveness of the new system was validated almost immediately. Shortly after the project’s completion, an upgraded branch experienced a security incident involving a robbery suspect. The newly installed Hanwha Bandit Barrier camera captured crystal-clear, high-definition facial images of the individual at the counter. This premium footage was turned over to law enforcement and served as the critical piece of forensic evidence that led to the swift and successful identification of the suspect.
